Cancellations - Cancellations received
90 days prior to start of your reservation,
deposit will be refunded, less $75.00 per
cabin. With less than 90 days notice,
deposit is refunded, less $75.00 per cabin,
only if all resort vacancies are filled at
same rate. No refunds for early departures.

There are a variety of activities both on and off the resort. Our large 20’ x 40’ heated outdoor pool is a great place to meet new friends and get reacquainted with old ones. There are plenty of lounge chairs for those that want to soak up the sun. The sand beach with no drop offs, provides safe swimming and playing.

There is free use of our canoe, paddleboat, funbugs and kayaks. You can enjoy a rousing game of basketball or volleyball. Those that want to be less active can play shuffleboard, horseshoes or swing ball. In the office there are books and games that can be signed out as well as candy, shirts and hats for sale. A hike along the shore will furnish a view of an eagle’s nest and maybe an eagle. There is another pair of nesting eagles on the main island.

Don’t forget your golf clubs, we are only one mile from the local golf course and the rates are very reasonable. Restaurants are also in the area.

A visit to Itasca State Park, headwaters of the Mississippi River, is an enjoyable day trip.

The Lost Forty is a short drive away and affords you the opportunity to hike amongst 350 year old virgin red and white pine trees, and see what northern Minnesota looked like before loggers entered the area in the late 1800’s.

In the evening you can enjoy campfires, roasting marshmallows or those oh so good s’mores. While at the campfire or sitting on the deck you can view gorgeous sunsets and listen to the loons. If you stay out late you may even get the chance to see those mysterious and majestic Northern Lights.

Blackduck Lake and Fishing

Blackduck Lake is often rated as one of Minnesota's top walleye lakes and is known for good perch fishing. Blackduck Lake is managed, by the DNR, intensively for walleye with fry stocking two out of every three years, and anglers are generally happy with fairly
consistent production of harvestable size walleye. The lake has a reputation for producing trophy bluegills in excess of 10 inches. Blackduck lake also includes Northern Pike, other pan fish and large mouth Bass. The lake is 2600 acres, approximately 3 1/2 miles across, with most of the water, 20 ft. or shallower, providing lots of fishable water. The lake is well structured with many mid lake humps, bars and weed beds. Other area lakes offer a good day trip and fishing opportunities, to smaller Chippewa National Forest lakes, Red Lake, and lakes for musky and rainbow trout.
Cabins

Our cabins are well spaced, you won’t feel crowded. Cabins are very clean and comfortably furnished, including carpeting, color cable TV and clean, safe all electric heat. Kitchens are well equipped with Corelle dishes, glasses, silverware, cookware, utensils, toaster, drip coffee maker, electric hand mixer and microwave. The bathrooms have a tub/shower or shower stall. Each cabin has a portable fan and some also have ceiling fans to help keep you cool on those extra warm days. All cabins have a deck, picnic table, umbrella, lawn chairs and a charcoal grill. We furnish all bedding. You will need to bring kitchen and bath towels. Cabins have softened water. All Cabins are Non Smoking per County Ordinance

PETS

One Pet is allowed in Cabins Ross, Julie and Mitch with prior approval..
A pet fee of $20/day or $125/week is required.
This is a kenneling charge for a pet to stay with guest.
This is not a charge for excessive cleaning/damages after a pet has left.
Prior pet approval is required.
Pets must be house broken, no puppies.
Pets must be leased or kenneled at all times, never left unattended, and cleaned up after immediately.
Owners are responsible for any damages, and current MN shot requirements.
A valid credit card must be given at check in and excessive cleaning and/or damages found after stay will be charged.
Barking problems or guest complaints will cause a pet to be asked to leave.

Visitors

Please make visitor arrangements in advance at the office. All visitors must register at the office upon arrival. No pets. Day visitor charge is $10.00 per person per day. We reserve the right to limit the number of visitors.

All visitors must leave by 9:00 p.m.
